Turn off the computer NOW and get your work finished. Make sure that you do your homework every day (EVERY DAY) before you even think about turning on the computer. Then tell your Mom the honest truth, that you've been neglecting your homework and aren't doing well in history - then tell her that you'll voluntarily give up your computer time until your grade improves. It sounds horrible, but trust me, not only will you be acting in a mature way but you'll have time to get your work done, school will be better, you won't have to lie, therefore you won't be stressed out and you won't have to go through this again! The computer is fun, but it isn't worth all of this trouble, and trust me, you won't die without it for a short while.

Maybe you should do your work and you wouldn't be having any of these problems. The truth is, you shouldn't be hiding your grades from her, because she'll find out sooner or later, I found that out the hard way. Your teacher might call her or something and she'll find out and be even more mad that you were lying. I think you should just come right out and tell her that you're failing and that you're sorry. Promise her you'll get the grade up somehow, and go through with it too. She would be less upset if she found out that way than another. It may sound a little nerve wracking, and it's probably not what you want to hear, but it's the right thing to do. TRUST ME!! It's happened to me before, so I know exactly how you feel.

You should always tell the truth ALWAYS! The longer you hide the truth, the worse things will become.

However, if you have ever felt depressed or unhappy during that time, try emphasizing that and you will get off the hook with some sympathy from your parents and teachers. If not, then don't lie and say that you were/are. That'll only result in you getting drugged up.

Good luck.

so, ok, your mom will probably get mad at your for your failing -- that a certainty -- but, think about it -- who are you fooling in YOUR life? - who does it make a real difference to? -- think hard on that - and you'll find out you are only one fooling yourself. smarten up - in the long run - you'll amount to something if you try -- you are the only fool in this game. do what's expected of you, use your potential that God has Blessed you with -- and show everyone, including yourself, that hey i'm pretty damn smart and can do more than what people expect of me. you'll really amount to something in your future years, if you'll listen and apply yourself. remember, you are the only one who can really destroy your own life. don't look to others for that, it's YOU. so apply, try and succeed. good luck.

You have to face your consequences now. You deserve to be grounded and to have your computer taken away. When you are young and in school, your schoolwork has to come first. YOU got yourself where you are right now. Instead of being honest and telling your mom the truth, you LIED, AGAIN!!! I hope you start thinking about the choices you are making and try hard to improve your grades.
