Well, I don't think that you are a non-believer. Many of us have a church that we belong to, but are not part of a denomination. There are thousands of churches in the U.S. that are independent of a denomination.
The Word does not say that we can worship God in everything, but it does say in all that you do, do it for the glory of God. But Paul was speaking of eating and drinking. (I Corinthians 10:31)
As far as worshiping corporately, Jesus has mandated that we do this. He created the Church to be His instrument to take His message to the world. We are not to separate from the Body of Believers. Here's why:
“And let us continue to consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another even more as you see the day coming nearer.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
John Calvin and Martin Luther, both of whom were important figures in the Reformation of the Church, believed so strongly in corporate worship that they made comments like, “Apart from the Church, salvation is impossible.” (Martin Luther) And, “So highly does the Lord esteem the communion of the Church, that He considers everyone a traitor and apostate from religion who perversely withdraws himself from any Christian society which preserves the true ministry of the Word and Sacraments.” (John Calvin)
Here's another reason: (I Peter 5:8) "Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." If we separate from the Body (the church), we are alone in the faith. The devil and his minions are like wolves, hyenas, coyotes and other animals that hunt in packs. In the wild, these animals rarely attack a herd or flock. They wait for one or two to get separated from the rest. They go for the stragglers, who are usually the weakest, either from the journey or illness. Then the predators attack. It's never fair. Five or six to one. And the attacked animal almost always loses.
Likewise, the Christian who separates from the church, is alone. Without a constant diet of solid biblical preaching, and encouragement from other (and stronger) believers, this Christian becomes weak and malnourished in the Word. Their defenses are down. Then the devil and the demons attack. Since the Christian is alone, weak and malnourished, he/she has nothing to defend themselves with, and they succumb to temptation or become disillusion with the faith, and fall away. Their testimony gets damaged, their faith is in shreds, and they wonder, "Why bother?" and quit. Then the devil is satisfied.
It is like this: If the devil can't have your soul, he will have your walk and testimony, if you let him. And skipping church is a sure fire way to go down that road.

Go back and ask that person to show you where in the Holy Bible does it say you have to be a denomination. It does not it says we should be Christians (Christ Like).
Yes the Word does say that you should worship God but it also says in Hebrews 10 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.
And Matthew 7:1 Judge not lest ye be judged
No one but you and God can decide if your going to hell. So continue on doing what you are doing but also look for a local church to gather with other saints, so you can gain more strength and knowledge.

What kind of wako would say you are an unbeliever because you are not part of a denomination?
Even if you don't go to any church you can be a believer - although I would certainly encourage you, if you are a believer in Christ, to look around and find a church where you can have real fellowship. You need it and they need you.
But that has nothing to do with whether you are a believer or not.

There will always be people who believe their particular denomination or their individual church has a monopoly on the One True Faith. Everyone else is "lost" or not a "real" Christian, or "deceived by Satan." In the end, though, it isn't important whether anyone else but your God approves of your worship, is it? Follow your heart and conscience and make sure you support the right of others to do the same.

It's not right to judge a Christian in that way. There are many times when churches are full of hypocrites and dissemblers who will never see a ray of light shine from Heaven. It's sad to say, but it is indeed true. Because of this, it is not always accurate to say that a Christian who does not go to church all the time is not at all spiritual. One who does not go to church can pray and fast and be closer to God than a churchgoer. As long as that person pays his/her tithes, keeps the Sabbath, etc., then it would be fine.
I think, though, that, despite that, it would still be in your best interest to go to a good church anyway. First, the Bible says that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves, but must exhort one another. (Hebrews 10:25). Furthermore, the Bible says that "iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." (Proverbs 27:17) Sometimes, as a Christian, one may be down and one may find it difficult to make it through his or her troubles. That's where meeting with fellow Christians comes in. Other devout Christians may be able to encourage you in your dark times and keep you strong in the faith.

Flyleaf I have no denomination and do not make it a practice to attend any particular church. I visit several and sing in several as a guest performer. I sing with different churches as part of their music ministry program for women in prison. Jesus said to pray in a closet so that your prayer is humble before God and not like the person who is out in the churches and synagogues wailing and rending their clothing publicly. Jesus spent most of his prayer time alone with God so I see no reason to have to go out to pray with anyone else. I am perfectly capable of reading and comprehending scripture on my own and do not need nor desire a third party to help me out. I think you should simply let it be a case of mind over matter sweetie....you should not mind what they say because in the end, they really do not matter.

no one can judge you lest they be judged themselves...you should go to a church though, because God sends messages thru annointed preachers, pastors, evangalist, ministers....so He may have one word for you for something you have been asking about or something, Read Luke 11:23.

Don't worry about it, maybe some other people are just weak enough in their beliefs that they feel they have to have a label and a building to make it real. (And then expect the same of others.)
