i have been with my boyfriend for 9mths. When we had first met he told me he was 24 yrs and had completed university. He seemed like the prefect guy! until we started getting more serious. i started wondering why he would never invite me to his house. he would always say how he lived with his mom and sister and he was moving out soon. after couple months i would end up paying for majority of the dates. he told me he was in a huge finance situation so i would try to help him out. He started to become verbally abusive calling me names and always excusing me of cheating on him. i recently found out he was 27years old cause i found his drivers license he denied it. he finally conviced and started turning it on me saying i should not of been looking through his stuff. after some struggle he apologized.... im just really confused should i stay with him?

Sounds like he has a self esteem problem. He said that he was 24, but actually 27, so that tells me that your like 18 or 19, maybe 20? He thought that you would not go out with him because of his age. The question is if you knew everything about him before, would you still date him? If the answer is no, then was smart enough to realize that and create a situation where you may stay with him at the end because of his personally etc, but if the answer is yes, then he made a mistake thinking that you would not like him. I don't believe that he seeing someone else, if I were you (I know that people will tell you to dump him) is to talk with him and work something else. Maybe women were bad to him in the past, and felt that he had to lie and not pay. I think he has been hurt plenty of times.

Not so much the age part but the fact he started verbally abusing you and cannot even seem to support himself.

well if hes gotta lie about a simple thing like his age you need to move on and the fact that he verbally abuse you and accused you of cheating thats just unacceptable
