I think the answer really depends on what your budget is. However, here are some things I came up with...

1. Something engraved with their name. a personal touch really can say more than dollars can. Someone's initials on a flask, paperweight or a dog tag can do the right trick.

2. Gift cards are not that personal but can be a good way to say "thanks." Picking up a card to each of the best mens' favorite dining places or stores could go a long way.

3. A book. How about you find a meaningul book that would apply to your men and write something personal to them on the inside cover. Reminisce about old memories, thank them for their friendship..

I bought my best man and another who stood up for me nice engraved clocks. I have received engraved mugs, gift cards, shot and pilsner glasses, tickets to events, gift certificates, and a wallet for standing up in weddings.

Something engraved with their initials...maybe a flask or cuff links. You could also make it more personal and get golf stuff for your golfing buddy or an engraved beer stein for your drinknig buddy.

My husband and I bought gifts at Things Remembered. He only had two to buy for and they are both football fans. He bought them a set of 3 shotglasses with their team insignia on it (pewter on glass). They came in a display box and he had their names engraved with the date. =)

They also had flasks there and other gifts for groomsmen.

Engraved stubbie colour, engraved flask, bottle of fav booze, engraved beer mug. Anything personalised is sure to be a favourite as it shows you care enough to think it through.

Watch, pocket watch, flask set, or tickets to a sports game your friend likes. It all depends what your best man likes and how much you want to spend.
