If you let her in the kitchen during meals, put her in a down stay - simple. (I've got 3 large dogs in the kitchen during meals, and they all stay back from the table until we're done.) When no one's around, clear the food off the table or keep her out of the kitchen. Being in the kitchen needs to become a privilege for this dog, not a right, she needs to earn the right to be with you by following the rules. If she won't obey, keep her out.

I would put up a gate to the kitchen, so she cannot lounge around the table while the family is eating. I would NOT keep food on the table at all when no one is there, because that promotes her to keep jumping on the table. If there is no food on the table, she won't try and sneak to get it. Completely STOP giving her any people food or goodies until she starts eating her own food. She sounds like she has received a little too much "people" food and has the taste for it now. Good luck!

Put really hot peppers on the table =).Either that or get a higher chairs and tables. As for looking for food to drop, that's pretty normal. Some dogs will go up to the table while people are eating to see if they will offer them some scraps.

Catch her in the act. Put about 15 pennies or dimes in a pop can. Go out of the room and watch her and when you see her go onto the table throw the pop can so it lands right behind her so it scares her. Don't let her see you throw it and don't hit her. You just want to scare her.

Another thing put bitter apple on the food when she goes to grab it she will taste the bitter apple and eventually she will stop.

I have the same problem with my springer spainals I tried click training them which works but only if you can catch them in the act and I had to keep the clicker with me whenever they were in the house. a clicker is a little device that make a clicking sound when you use it its found at all pet stores or feed stores it works but it just takes time. We still cant keep bread on the counters.

Rolled up newspaper, bad dog loud, another idea is get a metal can and put rocks in it and when she's bad shake it!!!Maybe a squirt gun! Take the human food away from her when she steals it. When you eat put the in another room or outside

Your dog does not see you as the alpha pack leader otherwise she would not do this. You must establish your self as the leader. The best way to do this is by going to dog obedience classes

YOU HAVE TO IGNORE HER SHE IS USED TO SOMEONE FEEDING HER OFF THE TABLE SO IGNORING HER AND PRAISING HER WHEN SHE DOESN'T DO THE BAD BEHAVIOR WILL SHOW HER THE RIGHT WAY GOOD LUCK DOESN'T HAPPEN OVER NIGHT

If you can't cure her with training (maybe you should consult a pro) then I would start crating her.
