Call the boss and request a meeting with her AND the boss, and tell him you feel you are being harassed.

You have two options here. Firstly, organise a formal meeting with your employer and perhaps your Union Representative too (this is important as your life was put in danger, and therefore relates to WorkCover). Explain the situation and point out that you have been working at the organisation logner than the other employee and that you have tollerated the abuse long enough, and it is now time for your employer to take action. If the situation is not resolved, your second option (and your only option as i see it) is to leave your job. It is not worth placing yourself in harms way. Good Luck

I've been through this on a job that I really enjoyed working at a few years ago. I wound up quitting because I got tired of the stuff the coworker was doing. The bosses always believed her, and I don't know why.

I confronted her in a nice manner a few times and even offered to sit with her with the boss to resolve whatever problem she had with me. She denied she had a problem with me and declined the offer.

But she still kept it up. I got so tired of it, I gave a two week notice and left.

Well someone this bad deserves no real compassion...so I suggest using some creative revenge. Check around on the 'net. A good place is the google newsgroup alt.revenge. There will be some creative ways to overwhelm this person with so many problems that she won't have time to bother you.......then sit back and enjoy the fun at her expense (trust me after 5 years she deserves it!...and chances are she has so many enemies by now she won't know who to suspect is doing it).

I think your best best is to out and out CONFRONT this person. Just state your case - and tell her that you find it inappropriate and unacceptable for her to continue with these actions, and that you are putting her on notice that the next time this happens you will be talking with human resources, your supervisor or your boss. Be please, but firm. Do not get in a shouting match or threaten - just promise that you are aware of what she does, and you will not allow it to happen anymore. Face her down!

Write a letter to the boss or supervisor and see how it goes from there. If nothing change. You could do few things, ingore her, hang out with the other workers, write a memo to every one about what she did to you that isn't real.

all comes down to your words vs. her words... seem like every one knows how she is.. i guess you have a higher chance of winning =).

Well, its good to know that you were able to crawl back out of the "damager" with your life intact....

Try telling her that she is a two faced c*nt that you want nothing to do with. Honesty seems to work best for me...
