I am almost 17 now.. and this happened when i was around 5 or 6, I was wondering is this considered abuse? I was 5 or 6 and the neighbor was the same age as i was, and he toldme to pull my skirt up so he can see my .. and he did the same thing so i saw his... anyways.. this happened at least 2 or 3 times that i remember.. and i never told my mom because i was too embarrased. And now I am wondering was this a form of abuse or not.

come on same age! children always experiment with sex. if the neighbor's kid would of been like 15 yrs old it would of been a different story. shut up.

6-year-old children rarely have the capability to abuse someone sexually! Rarely, if ever. This was a curious little boy. Heck, I had a similar experience with a male friend when I was 5 or so. Kids are curious. Like most of the remaining folks who answered, it would have been abusive/exploitive if the person had been a teenager or an adult. But no, this is purely innocent.

No it is not a form of abuse. It is a normal part of growing up. Many children do things like that and just don't talk about for the same reasons you didn't.

no, that's not abuse! One rule of thumb is that the abuser would be at least 5 years older than abusee; since you were both the same age, it was natural curiosity.

this is normal in kids that age, when they are exploring their bodies and those of the opposite sex. Kids have sex drives that manifest naturally if not thwarted by adults morals and social conventions. Don't freak out this is normal, you can address this from the perspective that it was a quid pro quo sort of experience.

No, that's not abuse it called kids being curious about the opposite sex. since you were both very young and the same age and no one touched the other.

You were young and curious. Both of you were. Now if an adult did that it would be abuse. Almost everybody has had an experince like that.

you where 5 years old, it is so normal for boys and girls to want to learn the differences between each other, It was curiosity, nothing more.
It wasnt like the boy was a teenager or an adult.
It was just curiosity, when you think about it, laugh it off!

5 year old kids are curious. Almost all of them do this sort of thing. There wasn't anything sexual about it, just natural curiousity.

At that young of an age I would think it was just normal childhood curiosity. Now if you were touched there, that would be different.
