Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer because he was incarnate (born in the flesh as a man) just for that purpose. I don't know what religion you are but I am Catholic and I believe in One God in three separate and distince persons, The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All are God.

The NT never uses the word saviorS. Only savior.

The term is primarily used of Jesus, e.g. Luke 2:11 "for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."

God saves us, but God the Father did not die on the cross for your sins and my sins, God the Son died on the cross for our sins.

Acts 5:31-32
31 "He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32 "And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him."

Romans 3:23-25
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; 25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;

And
1 John 4:10 "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins."

And others.

Jesus,took our sins on the cross...he's our savior. Jesus made our relationship with God more caring and more personal by calling him Father.

God is who He is, Lord of All. Jesus is the Savior, for He is the one who paid the eternal price for sin.

No. Jesus Christ is our Savior because He is the one who gave His life on the cross to offer us salvation. His death paved the way to "save" us so that we could one day join Him and Father God in Heaven.

They are both part of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). God is one 'being' made up of three 'persons'. Think of it as one God with three Personalities. Jesus is referred to as the Saviour because he is the one who died for our sins, but God the Father sent Him, all three 'persons' took part in the plan set in motion to remove sin from the human race and restore us to relationship with God. so while Jesus is traditionally referred to as the Saviour it is God who saves us. Theologically it is the acceptance of Jesus Christ (Greek for Messiah) that saves us.
