My spending range is between $3,000-$4,000, and this is my first time purchasing my own car. How important is milage? Which brand name cars are most durable? Where should I look? Any advice that you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

I will give you a piece of advice that will pay off well. When you find a car that you like, schedule an appointment at the local dealership for an inspection. For instance if you find a Honda that you like, take it to the Honda dealership. They will do a 100 point inspection, check out all the important components of the car then will give you a print out of the cost.

You will be responsible for the cost of the inspection, which was about $100 a couple of months ago, but you will have a very good idea of what is good, and what will need service. Besides it is provided by experts that don't have anything to do with the deal.

Also after you have the estimate for needed repairs, you will usually be able to talk the owner down a little bit.

Well I'm now not vehicle clever both, however I've discovered to seem for the next. The mileage, what number of homeowners, the extra homeowners screen they weren't completely satisfied with the vehicle and the extra there's probl. anything improper with it. If you could have a loved ones member or a buddy that's well at solving matters, like a mechanic, have him/her pass over the vehicle. Yes you'll be able to get and pay for carfax. Try to uncover a vehicle to your discipline. The web is a well position to begin shopping for autos, however they don't seem to be effortless to while you wish to move out and seem at it and take it for a scan force. There are the ones jerks in the market who do promote lemons and don't screen what's honestly improper with the autos. In my state of VA, in the event that they promote greater than three autos a 12 months, they're viewed a trader. And sure there are lemon legislation involving purchasers who promote unhealthy autos with out revealing all of the fact approximately the vehicle. You need to even be forewarned that despite the fact that a vehicle appears high-quality at the external and within, this vehicle will have been in a flood which is not particularly noticible and is utterly ruined. So wherein you believe you're getting a scouse borrow, is any person simply ripped you off. I'm certain there are webpages as good as books you'll be able to get on the library that tells you learn how to make a well vehicle acquire.

Do a search online for "used car buying" (no quotes) or something similar. There are sites out there that have tips and info, plus when you find a car you are interested in, check the kelly blue book and edmunds websites to see what they value that car at (based on year, condition, etc). Also do a search online for reviews on cars of that year, and see what other owners and experts had to say about the car.

Do your homework and you'll stand a better chance of not being "taken"...and being happy with your purchase.

Good luck!

try to find out if the car has ever been damaged and so from where, if your about to buy a car, hesitate a little and point out little things like scratches or maybe dents, u might get your price lowered, check the mil age and see if it hasn't been to abused, usually on avg. its 10,000 miles every year that a car is driven, so do the math. Honda engenie cars like Acuras, have loooooong life span, just take care of it regularly. just look at autotrader.com or the magazine and find one near you
