Peace means nothing missing, nothing broken. When we focus on Him and His word rather than the mountains in life, He will strengthen you by His spirit.

Passage Isaiah 26:3-4:
3 You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the LORD forever,
for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal.

I feel like this passage is saying that if you trust in the Lord nothing can knock you down AMEN!

I would think God is saying that if a person keeps him mind on him he will give him peace. Because if your mind is on God you won't have a lot time to entertain foolish things which seem to always have our lives in a uproar.
