I don't think so. It probably isn't very good for him, but not any worse than fast food. Hopefully he didn't eat to much, but I wouldn't worry.

No, it cannot make him sick. Cat food is made with the same things we eat just mix and pressed into a different form. The contents would be fish, chicken or beef and vegetables. There are preservatives that are used, but nothing that is not used in human canned food. I have two children who thought cat food was a good meal, and they were perfectly fine.

I have two boy and a 11 month old daughter. We have always had cats, I really dont care for them but they are growing on me. I have caught every single one of them at one point or another eating that nasty stuff. They have never been sick from it, but I would advise you to move the cat food to a place where he can't get it. When my daughter gets in the kitchen that is the first thing she goes for. I know she has eatin quit a bit of it, but dont worry it wont hurt him.

Depends. If it's the meaty, gravy-soaked, canned variety, then there's a small chance he could pick up some bateria or a little salmonella or something, but it's not very likely. Just watch him for any food poisoning symptoms. If it's the dry kind of cat food, nothing should happen. He may have a stomach ache or a bad taste in his mouth for a while!

No. Didn't you ever try cat food or dog food when you were a kid. Just give your child some milk to wash it down and tell him/her that the cat doesn't like it when he/she eats its food. Don't worry about it. Just put the cat food up.

Pet food is no worse than eating people food. The ingredients label will tell you what kind of products are in it, but there's nothing that will hurt a person.

Nope he will be fine, there is nothing in pet foods that will harm small children. My daughter used to eat our dog's food. Pet foods are basically what is left over from beef/pork/chicken/lamb that isn't used for humans, as well as bone meal. It isn't harmful, just by products.

no. he'll be fine. just teach him that people eat people food and cats eat cat food. also can tell him that if he eats the cats' food, then the cat won't have any and it'll be very sad; or something similar. this ususally works.
