There isn't one. No two people are made alike and you don't know how your skin is going to react once you apply those chemicals. Acne is unfortunately apart of the human condition and can not be avoided unless your genes say otherwise. You can however manage your acne. Fried foods, sugary foods and drinks, and foods cooked in grease will no doubt cause acne to get worse. The best thing you can do to manage it is to drink plenty of water, eat fresh vegetables and tomatoes, baked or broiled salmon for the omega 3,6, and 9 content. Take omega 3,6,9 supplements as well since these essential fatty acids have been shown to support the functions of the skin. You will not see commercials for this since they cannot be patented. Those over the counter medications only dry, crack, and damage the skin due to the harsh chemicals used. Vitamin E oil or tea tree oil is great for the skin. These things take time and pays off in the end. Your body grows stronger when allowed to heal properly. Please research for yourself to find out different things other than those harsh chemicals.

I agree everyone is different, but I can say that I tried Neutrogena Oil free Acne Wash and that stuff is great, but be sure to moisturize!!!! Try Cetaphil daily face moisturizer, that is some wonderful stuff and it is dermatologist recommended. All of the above recommended items are at Walmart! Tryed proactive and it worked for a while, but then it didnt----like I said everyone is different.

I tried pro-active... and it made my skin way worse. My sister is using it now and her's looks worse too. I'm using perscription strength Diferin now... I'd have to say just use the Neutrogena acne facial bars or whatever. P.S. Teddy Bear... It's called Clean and Clear
