it's 2 hearts, meaning love. the double thing is in now. why? i dunno.

Its the shape of a heart. So I think it means either love or heart. I ususally put it as " I <3 you" or at the end of a comment kinda as a signature. Its kinda a "love ya" type statement.

<3 = heart, however <33 could be a double scoop of icecream on an icrecream cone.
