God is Love and God is War.
God is a book, man is it's pages. Each page is full of experiences, good and bad. Each page is written as one chooses because of free will. Each page begins blank, it is written, and it returns to the book. The book collects it, learns from it, evolves, grows with each experience. If you chose to write Love, then God is Love; if you chose to write War, then God is War. You can always find Love in War but you will never find War in Love.

God is love. The worlds we see in the Bible only happened because of his love for a nation called Israel. Israel still stands today because of a God who did all to protect them. Now you say well does God only love Israel, of couse not. God loves us all and daily fight to keep us safe, and if God was not in control we would be dead. Now you say well it doesnt look like God is keep all people safe and then I must say that the world is bound by death a death only the cross can defeat and the gospel is going out. Think about the nations that are under heavy danger, most dont accept missionaries and most kill Christans. So it kind of like digging you own grave.

God is love; people who don't love make war.
People who wage war in the name of religions are not true followers of true religions.
However, the love of the One True God, encompasses all true and false believers, like rain falls on good and bad people.

He loves but holds a high standard. War comes when those opposed to his will try to stand against him and his people. He does have a warrior aspect which (I believe) is a sub-part of his just nature. and in the end he will wage war out of love for his people.

Most definitely war. The bible is full of accounts of people going to war in god's name and with gods help. People are still going to war over god. Not to mention the times he waged one sided wars: Himself vs. all of mankind (Gen 7:23), and Himself vs. Sodom & Gomorrah (Gen 19:24).
