Put a ham steak in a baking pan/dish. Put pineapple rings or pineapple pieces on it. Melt a bit of brown sugar and butter together then baste the ham steak and pineapple with the sauce. Bake everything in a regular oven. My family loves it!

Tangy Ham Steak
This lip-smacking steak is made from a minimum of ingredients. And, best of all, this simple recipe provides the main meal in under 10 minutes!

Total Prep Time: 10 minutes

You Will Need
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 fully cooked ham steak (about 1 pound)

What to Do
In a bowl, combine the ketchup, relish, vinegar, brown sugar, and cayenne; set aside 1/2 cup for serving. Grill the ham steak, uncovered, over medium heat for 3 minutes on each side, basting occasionally with remaining sauce. Serve with reserved sauce.

Serves: 3-4

Ham Steak With Lemon

Ingredients:
2 slices fully cooked ham(1/2 inch thick)
1 lemon, halved
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons prepared mustar

Directions:
Broil ham slices 5 inches from the heat for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, slice one lemon half; set aside. Grate peel from the other half and squeeze 1 tablespoon juice into a bowl. Add peel, brown sugar amd mustard to juice. Turn ham over; brush with the lemon mixture. Top with lemon slices. Broil 3-4 minutes more or until ham is heated through.

Yield: 2 servings

Chopped into Mac & Cheese?

Rolled up around a stuffing of finely diced carrots, celery and potatoes.

Fried with eggs (man, breakfast sounds great all of a sudden!)

Broiled, served with a warm raisin sauce (or perhaps a mustard & brown sugar glaze).
