And to always question what seemed to good to be true? If so, do you apply that teaching to your religious beliefs? If not why?

I think it was more simple then that. I was just raised on the standing that religious related stuff is not real. And likewise, after a certain age, neither is Santa or the other holiday characters. Was not raised with the idea of a magical world.

Things that were extreme like winning the lotto we were taught to not believe -so we don't play. When you witness a miracle like a child's birth - it's good and perfect. Yes, i apply this to my religious beliefs, but there are things that I can't comprehend so I just take them at face value, meaning if something happened then it happened - period.

i was taught to question things ... but also that some things may seem to good to be true , that doesnt mean they arent true
i apply this to my religion also ...
just because something doesnt seem real , doesnt make it so but .... always question and find answers
