yess it is. i need major advice. should i ask i guy out that i really like but he is just a friend. the prob is i don't know how he feels about me.

If you like this guy, and your friends with him ask him out w/out being obvious. Maybe say "Hey, what are you up to. Want to go grab something to eat". Then talk to him and ask him questions that would suggest you like him or are interested. You never know if you don't take the initiative!

Sure, start asking him out like to see a game or something less romantic so he wont be scared off and then you will do the rest by acting flirty and cute and for sure he will notice u as more than friends...

Just go for it, you never know how he feels until you ask him. The worst thing that can happen is rejection, and even if he doesn't like you, you can go back to just being friends, and he'll be flattered that you feel that way.
