on a used vehicle sale, do both owners on the title have to sign the back of the title?

this is a Georgia title going to Indiana.

In most states, all registered owners must sign the back of the title if the ownership is 'and', such as John Smith and Jane Smith. If the title is listed as 'or', such as John Smith or Jane Smith, then only one signature is usually required.

If the title is in joint names, yes, both must sign.
