also if you are wanting to use a treadmil...my gym instuctor told me the best way to speed up your metabolism is to 'walk for one minute run for one minute walk for one run for one'...etc etc..do this about 20 mins per day increasing to 30... on alternate days you can brisk walk up a hill for 30 to 40 mins.
It worked well for me.I lost about 6 kg in one month!!!

1. Make sure you eat breakfast.
2. Build muscle with weight training or resistance exercise. Try to do weight training 3 times a week, at least.
3. Drink tons of water.
4. Get plenty of sleep.
5. Avoid alcohol, especially with meals.

The best way to speed up a meatabolism is to EAT MORE FOOD MORE OFTEN. 5-6 smal meals a day will speed up your metabolism and keep your blood sugar levels in check allowing you to skip the disease known as diabetes. When you don't eat enough, your body takes the food you do give it and it stores it just in case it can't get more. If you get your body used to digesting more local low fat foods it will think that more food is coming and it will use up what it already has in order ot make more. Plus you will never be hungry like on silly diets
