i am 13 and really want the boys to start noticing me w/o acting like a slu tt ? i am like the smartest person in 8th grade. literally, but i dont brag or am geeky. sometimes i act a little dumb so im not the geek. i really want the boys to start liking me. i try being myself.
any advice?

Don't worry about. Boys break hearts, as well as girls for you guys out there. Who knows, someone may like you right now and you may not even know it. Just keep doing what you're doing, don't change just to get someone to like you.

Dress like a lady, act like a lady, talk like a lady, and be yourself. You can NEVER go wrong with that combination.
Showing off skin (too low shirts, too high skirts), flirting for the sake of flirting, using profanity, adopting bad habits are what the losers use. You don't need that.
You will be noticed.

Just start talking to guys and be nice, you can be a lustful object for 8th grade boys without ever being anything close to a slut
