My son had wooden ABC blocks when he learned to crawl. He is seven now and still likes to build with them. You can give wooden blocks as soon as they can sit up/crawl. Just make sure the blocks are big enough so they can't be swallowed. You can start telling your child what letter/number/color they are then. It helps with early learning.

Both of my boy's had them starting at 7 mos. The ones my youngest liked the most is those peek-a-boo blocks. They are now 4 and 2 and always asking for new and more blocks to build with. Its never too early for a set of blocks it stimulates brain activity and growth.

Pretty much the whole age range. We put away some toys that we thought were too "young" for my toddler. When I got them out again to give to Goodwill, he pounced on them. Some of them I realized he now plays with in a whole new way.

I have them. I am pretty sure it was 18 months and up. And thats only cuz they can hurt if you get hit with them..the corners are a little sharp. My son has played with them since 1 year though with no problems...he is however the reason I know why they hurt when you are hit with them
