i have a problem with my hair falling out. im only 18 and when i take a shower my hair falls out like crazy. and also when i brush my hair even when it dry. and i dont brush it that much because im afraid that it is all going to come out. does anybody know what can help it not fall out as much?

try a good conditioner and dont use the curlers or blow dyer to much

It may be as something as harmless as not using conditioner. However, it could be from a medical problem: underactive thyroid, diabetes and other illnesses cause hair loss. Try adding a root strengthening condition such as Pantene Restoratives for a month and see if that helps.

It can't be leukemia like a previous answerer said. You lose your hair from the treatments, not the cancer itself. I would talk to your mother or somebody to see what you can do about it. I wouldn't worry too much. I'm sure it can be fixed easily.

prenatal vitamins u don't have to be pregnant to take those vitamins
reduce as much stress as possible
eat less junk food , eat healthy veggies fruits and fish, chicken , redmeat get some kind of protein in your diet

That's kind of disturbing.
It depends on how much of it falls out.
If it's as much as a tennis ball, you might have cancer.
If it's a few strands, get over t. It grows back over night- really.
If there are bald spots all over your head--- see a doctor

try hot oil treatments this will relax your hair and add moisturizer to it thus keeping your hair from breaking off

Well, you could have luekemia but other than that just tell it to a doctor or a parent or a close friend and they might know what to do.
