Hi Sharon...in all fairness it is so difficult to stop a cat from enjoying their exploration outdoors including to your neighbour's home. The only way to prevent this is to consider converting your cat to be an indoor kitty. So long as there plenty of climbing posts and toys a cat can live a happy full life indoors without ever missing the outdoors. Outdoors lifestyle presents dangers and risk you may already be aware of and cats get tangled into dangerous situations which shorten their life. Indoor lifestyle however, minimizes these risks and offer the added security of peace of mind that you know your cat will be safe from predators, cat snatchers or people who want to hurt them, etc.
