The most requested out of my gift baskets: Take 2 ritz crackers and peanutbutter and make a sandwich. Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave and dip the sandwich in it. Put in freezer to set. Just to let you know how popular these are with friends and family, I'm making 26 dozen this holiday!

I'm not sure if you are going for a chocolate or food theme or simply just anything that classifies as a 'goodie'. If you don't want everything to be homemade, below are some chocolate suggestions. Also, not all of the ideas would be suitable for both sexes.
If you want chocolate themed items, consider things that are chocolatey, but not necessarily food. There are chocolate candles, chocolate shampoos, chocolate massage oils, even chocolate perfume!
Unusual chocolate foodie gifts are chocolate liqueurs or chocolate-dipped wine bottles. Chocolate-covered coffee beans are divine! They can be bought at Wal-mart. Organic ones in specialty stores such as Wild Oats are more expensive, but worth it.
Inexpensive chocolate themed gifts are pretty easy to find. Palm's Cocoa Butter is available in any drugstore and has a great cocoa scent. Dove dark chocolates are inexpensive but don't taste like it. Inexpensive chocolate lip balms or lip glosses are available at most stores.
If you want more chocolate gift ideas or information on where to find some of the ideas mentioned, here is an article: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/88150/great_gift_ideas_for_chocolate_connoisseurs.html

make a homemade hot chocolate mix, and bag it and display the bag in a cute christmas mug. Also, think about maybe adding a candle, or a nice bottle of wine, and a couple of glasses. You could also add the ingredients for one of your items, such as your peppermint bark, so that they can enjoy your bark, and then have everything they need to make it for themselves. Also, you might want to add a gift card to a good restaurant to allow the person and nice night out. Hope this helps!!
PS...the person above me has a great idea. The Ritz crackers with peanut butter and chocolate are excellent. My grandmother made some the other day and we couldn't get enough of them!!

I just received a goody basket with white chocolate (melted) with pistachios and dried cranberries.
NUT AND BERRY BARK
1 1/2 c. shelled raw unsalted pistachio nuts
1 1/4 lb. white chocolate, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. dried cranberries
Bake nuts for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Steam berries 3-4 minutes, blot dry and cool. Melt chocolate and cool to 82 degrees. Reserve 2 tablespoons nuts and berries. Stir nuts and berries into bark, spread about 3/8 inch thick on 10x14 inch foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle reserved nuts and berries over top. Cool, break into pieces. Store airtight for up to one week.

try this thing:
ingredients:
1 1/4 cups salted shelled pistachios (not dyed red)
3/4 cup sugar
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled slightly
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or other orange liqueur
1 teaspoon finely grated fresh orange zest
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
Special equipment: parchment paper
procedure:
Pulse pistachios and sugar together in a food processor until nuts are finely chopped (but not ground), then stir together with remaining ingredients in a bowl. Spread dough in a 12-inch-long strip on a large sheet of plastic wrap and, starting with a long side, roll up dough in plastic wrap (dough will be very soft). Chill dough on a baking sheet until firm but still malleable, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Roll dough into a 15- by 1-inch log, using plastic wrap as an aid. Halve log crosswise and chill halves, wrapped in plastic wrap, until firm, about 3 hours.
Cut 1 half crosswise into 1/8-inch-thick slices with a serrated knife and arrange about 2 inches apart on 2 parchment-lined large baking sheets. Flatten each cookie into a 1 1/2-inch round with the back of a fork or spoon, dipping fork in water and shaking off excess for each cookie.
Bake in upper and lower thirds of oven, switching position of sheets halfway through baking, until golden, 8 to 10 minutes total. Cool cookies on sheets 5 minutes, then transfer with a metal spatula to racks to cool completely. Make more cookies with remaining dough on cooled baking sheets (line sheets with clean parchment).
