Hi Mel. Usually the person does not know he or she is suffering from depression. One does not enjoy things like before, have trouble concentrating, feel fatigue, too much sleep or trouble falling asleep, feelings of worthlessness. Depression is an illness caused by an unbalance in brain neurotrasmiters. The spiritual explanation is that the person has a spirit attached to his aura and that is why he feels lack of energy and extreme downs.
The best way to diagnose a depression is going to a psychiatrist, he can help you determine and treat it. Argentox2@yahoo.com

You just don't have the energy to do stuff you enjoy doing, you want to cry for no reason, or you can't seem to make yourself cheer up. If this has been going on for a while, it might be depression.
