You got dry skin, common in the winter.
Avoid long hot showers
Go to bed and bodyworks - buy some glycerin soap and get some body cream.
I used to scratch until I bled.
Since I started using their products, I am fine all winter.

Could be any number of things; an alergy to something you've eaten; an alergy off a plant (I had this once and it drove me mad with itching), dry skin, or have you changed your washing powder recently? It could even be due to a liver problem. I had this about 12 years ago and was given medication for it. I would go to the doctor sooner rather than later.

you may have shingles, you are more likely to get it if you have never had chicken pox as its a viral infection, have you been feeling run down lately? if so your immune system could be weaker & you may have been in contact with other people who have a shingles out break..it appears as a red blotchy spotty ring on your body & causes severe painful itching over the body...its easily treated with antibiotics...but get down your doctors soon! OR it could be an allergic reacction to a washing powder!! XX

I see two possibilities here: You could have trouble with dry skin- which happens a lot in winter. If it's that, you'll need to drink a lot of water and use a good lotion.
The other possibility is that you are allergic to your laundry detergent. In which case, you'll want to switch to something free from dyes and perfumes.
Good luck!
