My ex-gf did this to me all the time. I would leave before you get in too deep and get hurt. He's just avoiding the issue by reversing the blame onto you. My ex was a master at that. It'll make you feel like crap if you keep putting up with it.

If you don't have an honest relationship with mutual respect you're probably doomed. Being friends is too important, and this guy seems too selfish to see what he's like. If it's only just started, then maybe there is a cuase outside the relationship - work pressures for example. Explain how this is making you feel, but if things don't get better, then move on.

BTW - Mr Johsnon, this is not the place for silly adverts.

Then point out what you think is right and twist the words back on him - unless yo udon't like playing that way, or believe that you do deserve the blame. You can't let yourself get pushed around in a relationship.

Easy, it is called reverse psycology where a person throws you off and try to put the blame on you to get off from answering the questions.....You just have to be better than he is and ask more direct questions...

Just tell him that you think he's doing that. Then dump him and get over it. Who cares? It's not the last relationship you'll ever have and how important is it for you to be with someone who wants to act like that?

Yes he is shifting the blame....Tell him that you not going to put up with that kind of cowardness and boot him....its a sign that he does not want to take responsibility for his actions....This will drive you absolutly crazy...Trust me I am a survivior of a man who was/is like that....we are not together anymore....However he is the father of my son.....
