It means that you can be a genius but a genius still has to work hard at it. It doesn't come easy. Is genius is one percent inspiration and ninety nine per cent perspiration, it means that you have to give it your all to the point that it makes you sweat that you worked so hard at it.

It means you have to work like heck to get the one break or find that one answer that makes a difference.

Its not just thinking about it, its about experimenting and working to solve the problem.

I've heard that Edison tried several thousand materials to finally find the one that worked as the filament in the light bulb.
