i have an 04 silverado extended cab. i hooked up an amp, two 12inch subs and an aftermarket cd player. i have the amp powering the subs. everything was working fine, but i replaced the cd player with a new one. now there is no sound coming from the 4 factory speakers that are not powered by the amp. i recently bought the correct wiring harness for my truck that enables the doorchime, but i noticed that the pin in the harness was out. it was for the front left speaker. i put it back in though. but im wondering if that is why i am not getting sound from my speakers. does anyone have any idea what it could be?

So the pin was broken on the actual wiring harness connection? Provided you bought the correct harness and changed nothing else it should work fine. I would say that your harness needs to be replaced.

wait what????? did you use the wiring harness or did you cut all the wires and wire them separately? you are going to have to trace all the wires if you did cut them all if you did use the harness take it back and try another one!
