Depends on the actual test. 146 in one test may be the same as 120 in another; this is why Mensa don't accept members on IQ test results.
An IQ test worth it's result will relate scores to percentiles, and it is the 98th percentile that Mensa looks for as criteria for membership. My IQ score in the test I did was 136, but this was above the 98th percentile. So chuffed was I that i joined Yahoo! Answers and pretended to give intelligent answers as if I was really clever.

Is this a joke. Someone with an IQ of 146 does not know how good it is?
Yep, it's a joke. Kinda like the Far Side cartoon where the little kid from Gifted School can't open the door.

It's perhaps worth pointing out that some of the "free" online IQ tests you can take have been known to over-inflate peoples scores to encourage people to buy the products they offer you at the end (certificates and the like).
I'd be wary of any IQ test not properly controlled (in person) by a professional trained in administering them.
(edit) Additionally, neither (a) a high IQ or (b) not knowing what an IQ score means are indications of Asperger's.

If it was an official Mensa test then that is pretty good. Be warned though, these days IQ tests are not considered to be the only way to measure intelligence and anyway, going around shouting about how smart you are generally leads people to one conclusion and one conclusion only.. and it's not a very nice one!

The average is 100.
I think ur at Carol Vauderman level.
I would like to know if it was a test u done from a book or an actual I.Q. test. If it was a proper test then u need to ask for a pay rise, if it was not then I suggest you get it checked properly to be sure as the tests are timed meticulously.

Yeah, right. Just FYI, "InflateMyEgo.com" and "FakeCredentials.org" are not actually a reliable sources of psychological data. An IQ above 140 is considered in the genius range (although the validity of the test for scores above approximately 135 is debatable as intelligence does not follow a normal distribution at the extremes), but anyone who actually had an IQ in that range would already know that. Not to mention that if you'd taken anything resembling a valid IQ test, the person who administered the test would have discussed the results with you.

It depends on the type of test you were subjected to, the most common is the holtzman test, in that scale Albert Einstein scored 251 points....
I know my score...but i do not think it will be cautious to reveal it....
so you are above the average score this being 125

With that kind of IQ you should be able to figure this out for yourself. Google the words "famous IQ results" you will get a list of famous people's estimated and true IQ results. JFKennedy was about a 100 Bill Clinton about a 145 and GWB -- well no surprize, a box of rocks beat him to the finish line.

That is really good. It does depend on what test you took, however, as many internet tests can be very unreliable. I scored about that on a Mensa test. Well done!
