I believe it states more than that when you consider that each individual who walked the earth, now walks the earth, and will walk the earth, has a unique way of perceiving our world and the cosmos as well as a unique way of communicating that reality to others. Consequently, a one-size-fits-all path to salvation not only diminishes what should be the infinite imagination of god but it negates the individuals ability to perceive, communicate and create. It is, without question, an evil travesty vested upon innocent minds.

I'm not a fundamentalist, but I can give you some kind of answer. In regards to imagination, doesn't all the diversity on this planet and in the universe speak to some creativity? Regarding that path to salvation, why would God ask his Son to suffer and die just to give people one more option? That would be irredeemably cruel. A loving God with a good enough imagination to create the universe (whether in 6 days or 6 billion years) would never sacrifice his Son if there was any other way.

No, let's consider this viewpoint.
We believe that God is a high being who is all knowing, omnipotent and omnipresent. And the fact that he offers a path to salvation is pretty decent of him. He as God does not have to do one thing for anyone. But yet he chooses an option for us to have a place to spend eternity. It's his place and his rules. The fact is that God loves us enough that he does want us there. But he wants a person to be without sin, so he offered a way to overcome the sin, through the death of his son who paid the price for that sin.
Why do people think that God has to be stooping down to our rules and regulations in order to give us a place in the afterlife? Do we put expectations on a gift?

No
A being's creativity may best be measured by the most creative of it's works, or perhaps even the average. No one makes everything creative. Particularly when it is best not to. Cars typically have 4 wheels not because people are boring, but because it works better that way.
It is even possible that there is no other possibility. If a person only makes triangles with three sides, that doesn't make them uncreative, just unmoronic.

God as our creator could make any rules He wanted. He did His part by sending His only begotten Son to this world to die for our sins, we have the easy part of accepting Jesus as our savior and asking God to forgive our sins. How is that a bad thing?

This comes with a narrow minded thought of some religious scholars.
It seems to me a very critical cap on God's judgment, which he reserves in Jesus's words, His word's to Moses, and again that "given" to Muhammad.

~~~ opinion ,,,, You've fallen into the same trap of those who Anthropomorphize their gods and give them Human Traits. The same thing that makes you suppose that god has an imagination is the same thing that makes people accept Dogma from some arbitrary Church Doctrine.
