First, the Druganov is very rare, and as such, expensive. In the past 10 years, I have seen only 1 complete Druganov for sale ... and that was for over $3000. If you find a "Druganov" for under $400, chances are that what you have an AK 47 with a "Druganov" appearance kit .... but that will not make it a Druganov!

not gonna happen - you're gonna pay at the very least a few grand, and even then you'll have to be careful that you're not buying some romanian dragunov look-alike
if $400 is really all you have and you want that dragunov "look," i guess you could just buy an sks for a few hundred and drop the receiver into a "dragunov-style" stock. it won't be pretty (and it sure as hell won't be a dragunov) but that's as close as you're gonna get.

I assume you are talking about one with a scope and composite stock. That would be very difficult to find one at that price if you were looking for one in good shape. You would pretty much have to be dealing with someone selling guns that didn't realize the value of the gun on their hands or they were scamming you somehow. I would expect to spend around 1-3 thousand, depending on how nice it is. If you were super lucky I would say you could get it for a couple hundred less than that, but you would have to be a crazy persistent bargain shopper.

sorry dude..your search is nothing more than an excercise in futility...they're rare and expensive. the closest i've seen is custom stocks for AK's, you can get a complete one on www.gunsamerica.com for around 4-6hundred bucks but it's muuuuch shorter and waaaay less accurate than the dragunov. they have even had the black dragunov you speak of on that website but it was 1199 bucks, you just wont find any authentic dragunov in your price range, sorry I had the same quest about a half year ago, couldn't even find a replica at a gunshow.

there is something called i beleive a PSL its like a cross between an AKM and Dragunov. its made in romania. most people looking at them couldnt tell the difference. i have seen them for around $700.
the real Dragonuv are going to be well over $1000

Under $400? Go for a Mosin Nagant M91/30 sniper. It shoots the same cartridge and is in your price range.
