try to relax and enjoy being pregnant. getting stressed about things isn't good for you or the baby. if there was something really wrong yo'd know..signs could include vaginal bleeding, severe pain etc

Stop worrying. Only 15% are miscarriages. Vast majority occur in the first 13 weeks so you're very nearly through the most risky time anyway. Being over 35 is a risk. The first sign of a miscarriage may be a pain similar to period pain and a small amount of bleeding. There's an article in today's daily mail about fruit and veg helping to prevent miscarriage - see http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/news.html?in_article_id=420283&in_page_id=1770&ct=5

Honestly, try not to worry, I've had 6 children, and in each pregnancy I've been beset by the same fears that you are dealing with now. All you can do is remember that all is going well according to the scans, etc, and you would know if anything was wrong. I had a real scare with my third pregnancy, and my son is hale, hearty and 10 years old now! You're a third of the way there, just enjoy the experience!

Best of luck to you and much happiness with your new arrival when he/she makes their appearance =)

High blood pressure is very bad. If you find that your ankles, hands, fingers are swelling it means you are retaining water which is also bad. There is a condition called Pre-enclampsyia which can be life threatening to both you and the baby. If you start to lose any blood, lay down put your feet above your head and call for the doctor immediately. Your doctor/nurse will be monitoring you for all these things so try not to worry. My advice to you would be to relax, enjoy your pregnancy and look forward to having a wonderful healthy baby, which I am sure you will. Good luck.

Congratulations you are almost a third of the way there to a brand new baby. Every mother has these feelings during pregnancy this is very natural. You are already becoming emotionally attached so you want everything to be as good as it can be. Eat properly, NO alcohol at all or cigarettes, take your iron and vitamins, sleep plenty and get loads of exercises, then you are giving your baby a fighting chance to be in great shape when he /she arrives. Good luck!

your chances are very slim, please stop worrying.Your baby is "fully"formed now and has it,s own heart beat. The first six weeks are the risk factors..you are a worry wort, and because i have had two children i know where you are coming from.If you had a misscarrage you woulg get very painful cramping and be loosing blood.

You have to change your way of thinking. Stop thinking negative thoughts, you'll get stressed out over nothing. Just relax, stay calm, if anything is going to go wrong you'll know about it.
