Place in a pot with a small amount of water and boil. It usually gets pretty watery so it is best to have something to strain it with after it is done. I use a cheesecloth to drain and press the water out.

Are you talking about cooking frozen spinach. If so, just dump it into a kettle of lightly salted water and cook until tender. If you are buying fresh spinach, rinse thouroughly and if you want to freeze it then either cut it up or shred it by hand place in a ziplock bag and freeze.
