Does anyone know where i can download a b&w film strip/photo neg that i can use in photoshop as a background for photo's?

You can probably find something on Google in the image search.

Actually, I found this in about 30 sec:

previously the movie is stepped ahead, there's a latent image. you mustn't see it, it must be processed with chemistry first. After processing, think ofyou've got both a positive or a adverse image, searching on no matter if you used adverse movie or slides. After processing that image is seen on the movie.

Have a look on iStockphoto.
A very good and cheap photo library.
Getting images from Google is okay, but it is usually going to be screen res and will look pixelated if you want it enlarged.

If you have any color negatives laying around, you could also just scan it/them and convert it to black and white.

www.bigstockphoto.com has thousands of images, I'm sure they'll have something like you're looking for.
