My cd player will not eject my cd, it makes a horrible clicking sound, the cd will play just fine. Everything else works fine, radio cassette deck, everything is great, except it won't eject. The cd player is factory.

I forgot to mention that I talked to the dealer this morning and they say even if they can get it out, not to use it anymore and thats at the least $40 whether they get it out or not. (warranty is out, have extended but dont think radio/cd player is covered). Any suggestions on how to get the cd out and maybe what is wrong. I not I may replace the whole thing sometime down the road. But I love playing alot of music, so this is driving me crazy.

Hammer time!

OEM head units are garbage. Do yourself a favor and get a new one, and a new CD while you're at it.

It truly relies upon on the cd participant. you want to examine the radio no matter if it may settle for steerage wheel remotes first. there are a kind of differing kinds which include a three.5mm jack for most producer (i.e Pioneer, Alpine and JVC) even with the actual shown truth that Kenwood use the blue distant cord off the ISO harness. those are frequently reserved for gadgets over £100 and fifty. (ball park ensure) next you want to discover the adaptor plug which suits the vehicle and the cd participant (examine your interior sight halfords or different vehicle audio save). this can enable your unit to talk with the vehicles unique kit. setting up it into your vehicle is only connecting some connectors mutually. although, be warned although that you're going to finally end up with a large purchase of cord in the back of the sprint and also you could also favor different adaptors besides (which include a aerial adaptor), i wish this enables if uncertain talk to a professional!

Same problem with my 04 in dsh changer. Dealer had to replace unit, then send mine off to get the CD's out of it. Sent them back to me in about 6 weeks.

If your truck is still under warranty take it back to the dealer and have them fix the problem.
