i have known him for along time. he has always did everything for the girls he has dated in the past.... and they always screwed him over....but i dont want to rush into anything because i just came out of a long relationship.... but he is so sweet and i dont want to lose my chance, what do i do?

well he likes you!!! if i were u i would give him a chance before it's too late! he sounds like such a sweet guy. just go slow with him! maybe do some fun stuff with him first just to get the feel for him. get to be good friends with him so u won't rush! and if things flow it will turn into something more.

well i think you should go ahead and give him a chance. but if he wasnt doing all those things for girls and telling them that they are beautiful then would you still want to be with him? some girls only want to be with guys because guys can call them beautiful and flatter them with gifts. but when the guys money is all gone then the girls ends up leaving. she ends up not seeing the guy for who he really is and it never works out. make sure that if you do go with this guy if you want thast you like him for who he is and the person he is. not because he can buy you things and make you feel special on the indside. this guy sounds really nice. take your chances with someone you think will capture your heart for a really long time. he sounds like a keeper. go for it if you want.

How about be honest? Tell him what you told us. It's a risk, but what isn't?
If he has any inclinations in your direction, this won't scare him off. Now, it will chase him away if he's just looking for a quick roll in the hay, but don't you really want to know what his intentions are?

It does sound like he likes you. If you're afraid of moving too fast, tell him and why you feel like that. If you do like him make sure he knows that too. If he does care for you that will be OK, just don't ignore him

tell him your not like those other girls that ****** him over ... tell him you care for him, he's so sweet, and honestly if your not ready for a relationship .. then let him kno.... but keep hangin out with him and show him that you are far from being one of those ****** up girls that he's had
