I would say you are exaggerating, but did you know that Muslims nearly took over all of Europe at one point? Charles Martel, father of Charlemagne, stopped them. They were ocming in from Turkey on one side, and from Spain on the other. So they were really the "boogeyman" for Europeans.

Well, lets see. Maybe it would have to do with the Muslim society taking over by force (war and slaughter of innocents) the lands from Indonesia to Morocco and Spain during the early centuries. I am not saying that the Christians were any better but just giving you a brief explanation of why Christians fear and hate Muslims. Christianity started in what is now Israel but how many Christians can you find in the area now that are allowed to openly practice their religion. This has happened over the centuries. It's the same reason Muslims have hated the Christains through all of history. They seem to be bent on mutual destruction of each other.

Christians don't fear and hate muslims. Muslims fear and hate everyone. Christians, Jews, buddhist, hindus.... whatever!
Why are christians being killed for their faith in the middle east? and around the world?
No! on the contrary, muslims HATE christians and Jews. Its right there in th Quran!

Muslims have fought against Christianity since they came around. Muslim's feel threatened by Christian's, and Christian's have been threatened by Muslim's. Many, many Christian's have been executed for Christ's sake at the hand of Muslim Extremists.

i think Christians r afraid bcuz muslims r against them like they are constantly speakin bad about christians and i guess they are afraid dat, dat will taint them in the eyes of the non-believers and no1 not even muslim r anyone here for that matter can tell me that muslims dont cuz i hav proof here on yahoo answers...anyways as for them hating them i dont think they really hate them i think they jus hate that they says things like dat about them and the fact that they also kill hundreds of ppl each yr by cars bombin etc. and sumtyms including themselves by suicidal bombings. And the fact that they are proud of wat they hav done and consider it to b right and try to justify their sick twisted ways and cuz all kindas of wars n stuff and then turn around to say they r peaceful ppl and that their religion is the correct 1...I can see y sumtyms ppl prefer to b atheist....I'm not sayin that all muslims r like dat r that they all believe that but I'm jus answerin ur question the best way can...

I guess the same reasons Muslims seem to hate Christians and Jews. It's just a vicious circle of ignorance and intolerance.

I think the main reason for that if it is really true would be because Muslims took over Jerusalem(holy city for Christians) and control it almost for 1200 years.

Muslims have always killed, persecuted and harrassed Christians. Just look at all the people the Muslims Crusaders kill today. They even kill each other and praise Allah when they do so.

This is, in the first part, an unfair attack on Christians. You assault me with views that I do not hold.
I would say that both faiths are guilty of this to some extent. Wouldn't you?
