ok, there was this guy that i totally used to like but he turned out to be another jerk! he would always flirt with me, act all physical around me ( hugs, touching my legs and yea poking them, pulling my hair, putting his arm around my shoulders, and messing around with me) and everyime he would give me a hug his friends would tease him by saying " awww, yall are having another warm moment" and my friends were telling me that he was into me. he always wanted me to sit next to him and get mad if i DIDNT GIVE HIM A HUG!! he was sweet though and very caring- but i guess what i really liked was a lie. he would also give me those "looks" when you know that a guy is into you. but what's REALLY screwed up is that he NEVER told me he HAD a GF!! he is also one year older than me and he's a libra-i& Im a sagittarius.

Sounds like you're in High School? So, there are 2 reasons.
1. He's a jerk, all High School (and most College) guys are jerks. They're out for themselves, it's a testosterone thing.
2. He wants reassurance that he's still "got it" and he wants to reassure himself that he can get someone else if the time ever arises. Probably makes him feel pretty good to know that he can have his cake and eat it too. (I don't understand that quote, but I know it fits).
As you grow older, you'll learn to always ask up front or subtley, if they have a girlfriend. Doesn't matter what age they are, lots of guys are like this. The trick is to find the one that isn't.

First of all, i have to say I'm pretty sure your signs don't matter at all. Secondly, don't think this is all guys. This guy seems like a lot of guys, I know... that stereotypical jerk. If he would act like this to another girl despite the fact he has a girlfriend, unless he's breaking up with her to be with you (and maybe even then), then he would definitely do the same thing if you were his girlfriend.
You're better off.

Hey its fun to flirt. And guys can be jerks, trust me I'm a dude. This is going to sound really harsh, but he was probably making sure you were into him either to feed his own ego, or have you as a back-up plan if things didn't work out with his girl. I know that sounds mean but some, hell, most guys are like that.

Maybe he's not happy with his girlfriend and wants to find someone else. Maybe he's just a flirt! Some guys really get off on just knowing they can flirt and get a seemingly interested response.

It is all about his ego; he wants to make sure that even though he has a girlfriend, he can still get the attention of another girl. Seriously, pick someone who is into you with no other attachments. He is just a playa and his g/f should keep a sharp eye on him.

i know exactly what youre talking about, that same thing happened to me, this guy had a girlfriend and even tried to kiss me, who knows what guys are thinking but in the end you really wouldnt want to be with a guy like that i have decided because he will be like that with some other girl if you were together so go for a guy that you deserve and that will treat you right

because boys (not men) like to have girls fighting over them, and the more the merrier to them. Besides that's what flirting is, just teasing the other person. Not sure you being a libra has to do with it, but he's just being a boy, ignore him.
