If you just got her give her a day or two. Pet her and offer her a dog bone (treat) give her only a few so she doesn't fill up on them but if she eats them she is ok and is just adjusting to the new home. This is normal. You don't say what kind of dog she is, some are more sensitive than others.

This happened a couple of times with my puppy. One time it was very serious and the other time not so much.
The first time she wouldn't eat afte munching down about thirty grapes. She was about 3 pounds at the time and the massive amount of grapes in her system almost killed her. She stopped eating after the grapes and became really lethargic over a period of about 13 hours. We finally took her into the vet's office and she was in almost complete kidney failure. After a week in the hospital she was fine.
The second time she had just eaten an entire baby carrot. Her being a good 10 pounds now, the carrot was still pretty big. She had swallowed the entire thing and it was just sitting her stomach. She didn't eat for an entire day (which is unheard of, the little porker!) and finally vomited up the carrot and went to work on her overflowing food dish.
Basically I would watch your pet. If the not eating is accompanied by any other symptoms, it is worth really looking at and possibly taking her to the vet. If she isn't acting strangely, though, just give it a day. If she continues to not eat, though, I would take her in to a vet to get her checked out. Better safe than sorry!

Has she been moved lately? How long have you had her? If she is in new surroundings she may be a little stressed. Just talk to her and make her feel comfortable and try to feed her by hand. If that will not work try to put a little canned food in with the dry. I haven't met a dog yet that would turn down canned food.

See a vet please a.s.a.p. Not eating is the first sign of illness or in some cases,,they wont eat if they are "in love" with a female dog near by.If thats the case,,sprinkle dry cat food on its food & he will eat.If he ismissing the previous owner,,reassure him that its going to be ok,,bond with the pet.And thank you for taking this pet into your home & heart.
