Go to www.littlebigcat.com and read Dr. Jean Hovfe's article titled "Cat to Dog Introductions" for some tips on how to help the cat along with her adjustment to the dog.

Let them get comfortable in their own time, the dog will want to play, and the cat just sees the dog as a threat. Cats are always the dominant ones in a household, I had a pitbull and a absyinian cat. They both came around in there own time, of course the dog will get a couple of scratches, before you know it they will be looking for each other to cuddle up on and go to sleep. Trust me I know, It will all come with time.

time. they will work it out when the dog trys to get the cat, or to buddy up to the cat. likewise when the cat lets the dog know that its its house, then the cat will regain its composure

Takes patience. Just don't push the issue & let them figure things out. Take a little time but they will learn to share the home.

THERE ISN'T REALLY TOO MUCH YOU CAN DO TO HELP THE PROCESS.
TRY INTRODUCING THE CAT TO THE DOG AND SHOWING THE CAT THAT ITS OK.
ANYWAY DON'T WORRY THEY WILL BECOME BEST BUDS IN THE FUTURE MINE DID
