Tea is worse! Don't believe me? Leave a half cup of coffee and a half cup of tea sitting out overnight, and when you pour them each down the sink, see which ring is harder to scrub off the inside of the cup!

Yes, but only in a lesser strength. The coffee is always darker and the teas are always lighter in strength. That makes the only difference. If you want to remove the stains, a cheap mixture of hydrogen peroxiode and baking soda into a light abrasive paste works as good if not better than the pricey white strips and traps sold in stores.

Black tea stains as much as black coffee when OVERBOILED. But tea and coffee taken with milk is not that much of a problem. At the same time tea is more friendly to teeth with natural fluoride in it than can be said of coffee. However, do not make yourself bereft of the taste. After you have enjoyed the taste and aroma of tea/coffee, rinse your mouth to maintain the whiteness of teeth....

Tea does stain your teeth worse than coffee. My dentist just told me to rinse my mouth out with water after I drink tea to try to combat the problem.

My dentist gripes at me year after year about tea....it does stain BUT it has natural flouride in it.

Yes, because it contains a lot of tannin which is used in the"Tan"ning of leather.
