I don´t know but it seems your friend wanted to be nusty as it also means:

Sancha is pretty much the girl you're cheating with
"the other girl", if you have a girlfriend, wife, significant other, your sancha would just come over to fool around, but nothing serious. same thing for sancho (the male equivalent)
