does anyone know any healthy ways i can loose 15 pounds before christmas? is it possible or the time limit is too short. And if it is possible what are simple healthy things i can do to drop those extra pounds, without including working out or starving myself?

p.s. i am 140 pounds, i am 17 years old, and i am a girl.

Your height plays a big part in whether or not you even NEED to lose weight. And no, there is no healthy ay to loe that much weight in three weeks. You could possibly lose as much as 6 pounds, but even that is pushing it.

You should reduce your calorie intake by about 500 calories a day, and start and exercise regime. Start drinking at least 64 ounces of water a day. Don't deprive or starve yourself, because any weight that you lose will just come back, along with some extra!

You need to exercise hard to lose 15 pounds before Christmas. There's no getting around that. Consume 1200-1500 calories a day and perform cardiovascular exercise daily, while incorporating some strength-training 2-3 times a week. That's all you can really do. Good luck!

By the way, if you were just to diet and not exercise, you would lose 1 pound of fat per week. With exercise, depending on the intensity and frequency of your workouts, you could lose 2-3 pounds of fat per week, but you'll have to work hard for that!

Starving yourself doesn't work to lose weight anyway. Eat alot of salads, use DIET salad dressings. Drink at least 2 liters of water daily, eat fresh fruit, like apples oranges and bananas. Eat a half cup of raisins daily. Don't eat meat, have fish or eggs for your protien needs. This will help to lose the weight. But you really do need exercise. I suggest walking at least a mile a day.

At 140 you won't lose 15 lb in 3 weeks.
