Ask in a joking way:"Are you intrested in me?" If he says yes...then BINGO! If not...just say...I was just testing you.

Just like say there's an activity that you both are going to. If they sound excited when you tell them you're going, I would take that as a sign. If you don't have their number, ask for it and if they gladly give it to you, then that's a good sign. Then call them and if they sound excited that you called and if they talk to you for @ least 20 minutes without making some phony excuse like "My dinner's ready" or "I have to go walk the dog" then I'd also take that as a sign.

tap them on the right shoulder three times, and on the left one once. then, shake their hand, and if they respond with, "the sun always shines in moscow" then they like you. if they say "spaghetti from brooklyn is good" then they dont like you. if they say anything else, repeat the process
