I just asked this question, but now I want to be more detailed. We are actually 22 1/2 years apart. He is older, and I am younger. I am 22. He is really into me, but I'm not sure what to think. He was married before and has three kids. One of his kids is actually a year older than I am. He has dated since being divorced and told me that he hasn't felt like this towards anyone since he got married to his other wife years ago.

Just keep in mind he "was" married before, even though these ting don't always work out.
Now No, age shouldn't really matter. How you fell about him is what's important and how he feels about you. Does he make you happy? Make sure it's love and not just a crush or infatuation on both of your parts.
Also you need common interests, respect and caring for one another.

Age usually doesn't matter as long as you love each other, but the age difference between you and him could turn some heads. If he has a kid that is older than you it could get awkward around the kid. This is just my point of view.

If he loves you and you develop feelings for him, I'm sure things will be fine. Just treat his adult kids with respect and kindness. Actually 44 is still quite young these days now that many folks are living into their 80s. If he's a good man, perhaps you will be happy. I hope things work out well.

Maybe he did not feel like this for his wife because he was younger and his wife was younger 2. Hes to old for u. Theres plenty of young fish in the water.

I think that the only real issue with age would be a maturity difference. If you are just as mature as he is (and you aren't weirded out by his daughter being older than you) then it shouldn't be a problem. Have at it!

i'll answer the same thing i say to everyone.
Age doesn't matter, is just a number. If you feel like an immature person next to him, then yeah it might matter, but it's all about the way you feel and not the opinion of a bunch of strangers on yahoo!

Age dosen't matter i'm 26 and i've gone with women in their 40's and found them better than ,ost of the girls my own age.

Sounds like a crazy situation. But here's the thing, if you feel mature enough to handle all the crazy situation you just mentioned then why not date him.

it shouldnt matter.u are old enough to make ur own decision.long as u are both unattached it should be ok.but im sure u will have a hard time with people always assuming he is your dad and stuff.but if u are ok with that.give it a go
