Here's some of my favorite Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in oak, this is a complex wine with cassis and blackberry flavors as well as hints of bell pepper. This is the classic wine to pair with red meats.

Beaulieu - BV 2003 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon
Bonterra 2003 Organically Grown Cabernet Sauvignon
Ch. Montelena 2001 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Jordan 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon
Peter Lehmann 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon
Silver Oak 2001 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars 2002 Fay Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Pascal Jolviet, 2005 White Bordeaux from Sancerre. This Sauvignon Blanc has citrus (lime?) and grassy, herby notes, a dry, almost chalky finish; it is clean, has balanced acidity; it is young and elegant! In other words, if you enjoy this style of wine, you will be delighted!

Here is my favorite red wine selection and recommendation recently. It is a Shiraz and especially a brand called Woop Woop Shiraz from Australia. It is just awesome!

Parallel "45" Cotes du Rhone from Paul Jaboulet. A big, spicy red at a reasonable price. Delicious!
