You have to be of majority in your state to be able to contract. You cannot get a credit card by yourself if you are not of majority. Which is usually 18. Most credit card companies look at your credit history to determine whehter or not to issue a card. If you can't get a card ask for a secured credit card where you deposit money in their bank to back up your credit card. You can then build a credit history and after a year or so, you get your money back and can use your credit card without security.
