I know this is going to sound gross and all, but when my dog rolls over does his manhood have to really come flying out and everything? is there a way I can get him to stop doing this gross behavior because it is very embarrising when he rolls over and pretty much throws it out there at my guests too.

Well, that's what happens when he gets excited. My Chihuahua does it sometimes also. There isnt a way to stop it, it's just an instictual thing. My dog is neutered and he still does it. I know it's not exactly a wonderful behavior, but all I can say is overlook him when he does it. There's really nothing else you can do.

Is he neutered? My male dog used to do that when he was a puppy but after I had him neutered it pretty much stopped. He's 4 now and occasionally it will peek out a bit but not all nasty like before.

If he is fixed then it will calm down. But you are stuck with him rolling over and bearing all. That is what dogs do and we live with it.

Good luck

He's a DOG, for chrissake. It's unfair of you to think he should act any differently. Now if your boyfriend starts doing the same, you might have a problem!

well boys will be boys and dogs will be dogs. lock him up temporarily till your guests leave if he is so insufferable. but really he is your dog and you should love him no matter how gross he is.
