staph lives symbiotically on our skin and is not usually a problem unless it gets into a wound; then you see a wound that will not heal over time, may become pustular, will be very red, and often pruritic.

Elevated temperature. Other specific symptoms depend on the site of the infection. This could be skin, tissue/organ, bone, respiratory, intestinal, cardiac or blood. You will need to be more specific.
